Today the world’s news is no longer defined by traditional journalism alone. It echoes a cacophony of voices from multifaceted and layered sources. In response to this swiftly shifting tide, felt in all media spheres across the world, United Press International (UPI) has developed UPIU.com.
Harnessing the powers of both traditional and emerging new media, UPIU.com is a social media and publishing platform that brings together the voices of aspiring and professional journalists, academics, human rights reporters, activists, public-education professionals, bloggers, and content creators at every level. We seek to foster meaningful conversation amongst those with a unique perspective and a passion for telling important stories. We want to see, hear and tell the whole story and share this with the world.
Whatever your part is in the story, UPIU gives you unlimited opportunities to showcase your work for a global audience. UPI editors are constantly reviewing submissions in UPIU.com, looking for the stories that deserve global attention. UPI publishes these stories to its online news site, UPI.com, disseminates them through its global distribution network, and backs your voice with the integrity of 101 years of journalistic excellence.
