The Internet still lacks the power of TV because of its reliance on still limited bandwidth, it still doesn’t support real-time distribution of full-motion video. Our brains are wired to notice movement. Video streaming on the Internet is becoming more common and accessible, BUT it is television that will continue to the dominant medium of communication.
The Internet must remain open and accessible — despite the provider. Consolidation and control that affects television must not affect the Internet, too.
