We Media Fellowships
We’re pleased to offer a limited number of fellowships for students and independent, nonprofit or small startup participants from any country to attend the We Media Miami conference, March 9 – 11, 2010.
Fellowships cover the full registration fees for the conference, including conference meals and materials. Fellows are responsible for their own travel and lodging.
Fellows also receive a one year individual membership in iFOCOS, or a 20 percent fee reduction if their company becomes a corporate member.
Fellows commit to full participation in the conference and to some modest assignments to assist with session coverage, reporting, photography or other tasks during the conference. Fellows also contribute to the conference blog before and after the conference, serving as trend “scouts” for the We Media Community. Fellows commit to one year of trend-spotting or analysis with occasional updates posted to the We Media web site. We look for fellows who can offer unique perspectives on media, culture, business, technology or social innovations and insights from their communities, work or travels. We encourage fellows with photo, multimedia, design and data visualization skills.
